You’re in the driving seat
For every property you list, you can tick off a host of features and type in your own description. You can also upload as many photos of the spot as you like to show it off at the best angle. You link each property onto our easy mapping system, (it’s called Geocoding, in case you want to impress your kids with your technological prowess) which pinpoints your rental to an exact location. We even show off points of interest around your property, like shops and schools, so people can get a feel for the place.
You can also manage your profile yourself, so you can edit and delete rental listings. If the phone calls keep rolling in after you’ve rented your property out, you can deactivate it, plus we’ll keep it in case you change your mind – this is really useful if you have a 6 month or yearly lease in place because you can reactivate and update the listing with a click (or two) of a button. How cool is that?

Think finding a tenant is exhausting? We have thousands of active tenants registered with us to receive details of new listings in their area. If your property matches their needs, we’ll SMS and Email them to let them know you’ve listed. And they contact you directly.

You have a unique identity
If you have a memory like a sieve and you’re tired of trying to remember your password, then this is going to be great news. Once you register you’ll get a unique Homekey account with o-so-many benefits (we’ll tell you about these later). In the meantime, use one login across any of our partner websites, (like the wicked www.privateproperty.co.za). Look out for the Homekey logo, which identifies partner sites in the network.
